DLE is an innovative investment platform that provides investment solutions for global investors and creates sustainable growth throughout the entire real estate value chain. DLE has offices in 5 countries around the world. Our experienced management team has over 150 years of expertise in the real estate and financial sector. The management team is supported by over 90 professionals coming from 15 different countries.
However, their website was unable to meet the needs of users due to its complex structure, unclear hierarchy, and poor user experience, which led to a decrease in website traffic and user engagement. To address this issue, DLE want to redesign their website and provide a better user experience, increasing brand trust and credibility.
I used web analytics and user interviews to validate existing questions. Analyzing website data: Users spent a long time on the homepage but quickly left the website when navigating to other pages. This indicated that the website's hierarchy and navigation were not effectively guiding users to find the information they were looking for. Conducting user interviews: User interviews revealed that many users found the website's font and color choices difficult to read and did not establish a sense of trust in the brand.

Next, we conducted a competitor analysis with the purpose of making the company's new visual specification stand out from other companies of the same type. At the same time, it conveyed the vision of DLE sustainable development and solved the problems that emerged in the user research, such as the font and color of the website. Difficult to read without a clear visual hierarchy. New responsive layout to match different usage environment.
Due to the limited initial time frame and budget, we developed Option A, which was built using an existing website template. After a joint investigation with the development team, it was found that using squarespace and wix and other similar websites to build, the code can be modified poorly. Although the maintenance cost is low, the time cost is the same as redevelopment. In the end, DLE chose the Option B to rebuild the website to develop a new perspective and structure to meet the company's goal.
In summary, through multiple user research methods, I identified the root cause of the problem and worked with the designer team and development team to develop a solution. The new website design has improved user experience, increased user click-through rate by 20%, and increased user dwell time by 40%
